Today we’re taking a look at one of my favorite burger locations in Reno, Archie’s Giant Hamburgers. Archies has been around for almost 30 years and has been a staple for UNR students ever since. They offer a wide variety of food and drink options but they are known for their giant ½ pound burgers.
Aside from their burgers, they also have an amazing breakfast menu and many different sandwiches. However, when I went this week I had their big bleu burger. This comes with their signature ½ patty smothered with melted blue cheese, lettuce and onions on their toasted brioche bun. Along with this I added bacon. Check out their menu here !
Their portions are huge so if you plan to visit them be sure to bring an appetite! They are very consistent so you can expect your order to be made perfectly every time.
Their service is exceptionally good. Their servers and bartenders are always very friendly and seem like they are having a good time. Currently, their hours are 6:00 am-9:00 pm daily. However, prior to the covid pandemic they were open 24 hours per day. This schedule attracted a lot of people who were hungry after a graveyard shift.
